Cairo Sudan Aid

Cairo Sudan Aid started within days after the Sudanese conflicts occurred. This is not an official organization, we are a group of Sudanese and non-Sudanese volunteers, who are sharing a common vision in this time of war.

What we have been doing:

Aswan:

-Provide food-water at the boarders

-Distribute sim cards & small phones

-Buy and give out train tickets

-Financial support

-Medication

-Connection with larger organizations (Misr el Khier and Red Crescent)

Cairo:

-Rent apartments

-Financial support

-Medication and baby formula

-Food supplies

-Furniture

-Clothes

CSA’s group started by supporting families that were not able to fly back to Khartoum, by paying rent and sending them money. Then quickly our priority became the Sudanese nationals who were stuck between the Sudanese and Egyptian border, stranded for days with no access to food, water and medications. Currently, we are still working on both sides, the situation and focus is to bring sustainable aid to Sudanese families in Cairo. The needs surpass our resources and capacity, so we are hoping to raise more money to be able to continue supporting our people. So far we have supported 550 families and with your help will be able to support more.
