Sudanese refugees in Cairo
Donation protected
The Association of the People of the Ain Siro Region (APASR) provides essential humanitarian relief to refugees in Cairo fleeing the ongoing war in Sudan. In the past year, over 11 million Sudanese have been displaced by the war. Half a million refugees enter Egypt with minimal assistance from governments or international non-profits.
APASR fills the gaps created by the lack of national or international aid to Sudanese refugees. Founded by Darfurians, many of whom fled genocide themselves, APASR is a community-based organization providing food, housing, and medical assistance to families who are rebuilding their lives in a new country. Operating within the community we serve, APASR has delivered thousands of meals and hundreds of boxes of supplies.
As the conflict in Sudan continues, the demand for our services only grows. Students at Goodenough College in London, UK are partnering with APASR to fund our expanding efforts to provide essential humanitarian relief. All funds raised in the UK will be distributed directly to APASR for food and medical relief.
Sincerely,
Adam Abdalla (APASR)
