Wir sind Victória und Marcos und wir haben diese Spendenaktion eingerichtet, um der Bevölkerung im Bundesstaat Rio Grande do Sul, in Brasilien zu helfen.

Unsere Leute leiden und sind in großer Not. Die durch die schweren Regenfälle verursachte Überschwemmung hat über zwei Drittel der Städte des Bundesstaates betroffen und Häuser, Brücken und Straßen zerstört. Sie hat ganze Städte überschwemmt, was zu zahlreichen Opfern, Vermissten und Familien geführt hat, die von Verlust und Trauer überwältigt sind.

Unsere Leute benötigen dringend Hilfe, um diese schwere Zeit zu überstehen, und brauchen alles von Trinkwasser, Kleidung, Nahrungsmitteln, medizinischen Vorräten, Matratzen, Bettzeug, Hygiene- und Körperpflegeprodukte. Hunderttausende von Menschen brauchen dringend lebensnotwendige Dinge, um ein Mindestmaß an Würde zu bewahren. Viele Tiere müssen auch aus dem Wasser und von Dächern gerettet werden.

Ich wurde in Lissabon, Portugal, in 1977 geboren und im Alter von zwei Jahren verließen meine Eltern Europa, um in ihre Heimat, Porto Alegre, die Hauptstadt des brasilianischen Bundesstaates Rio Grande do Sul, zurückzukehren. Dort wuchs ich auf und lebte bis 2010, bevor ich nach Deutschland zog. Meine ganze Familie und Freunde leben in verschiedenen Städten des Bundesstaates.

Ich, Marcos, wohne heute in Deutschland und werde die Spende sammeln und an Victória, in Süd Brasilien, überweisen damit sie das Einkaufen und die Verteilung an Gruppen, Vereine und Organisationen je nach ihren Bedürfnissen steuern kann.

Wir und die gesamte Bevölkerung von Rio Grande do Sul bedanken uns von ganzem Herzen für Ihre Spende und Unterstützung.

We are Victória and Marcos and we have set up this fundraiser to help the population in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.

Our people are suffering and in dire need. The flooding caused by the heavy rains has affected over two thirds of the cities in the state, destroying homes, bridges and roads. It has inundated entire towns, resulting in numerous victims, missing people and families overwhelmed by loss and grief.

The "Gaúchos" urgently need help to get through this difficult time and need everything from drinking water, clothing, food, medical supplies, mattresses, bedding and hygiene and personal care products. Hundreds of thousands of people urgently need basic necessities to maintain a minimum level of dignity. Many pets and animals also need to be rescued from water and rooftops.

I was born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1977 and at the age of two my parents left Europe to return to their homeland, Porto Alegre capital of the state of Rio Grande do Sul Brazil, where I grew up and lived until 2010, before moving to Germany. My entire family and friends live in different cities in the state.

I, Marcos, live today in Germany and will collect the donations and transfer it to Victória, in southern Brazil, so that she can manage the purchasing and distribution to groups, associations and organizations according to their needs.
