Sudbury Homeless Crisis Eating Shelter

Donation protected
The Sudbury homeless community requires an eating shelter for the winter!

On October 1st, 2020 I took a stand after the city workers removed the picnic tables from the only eating area for the homeless.  The City is continuously making it uncomfortable for homeless people's encampments and the removal of the picnic tables from the parking lot across from The Samaritan Centre building was the last straw! This is only causing Sudbury's most vulnerable to run out of places for shelter and community.

The simple act of sharing a meal brings people together and creates a sense of community, but now our homeless population is forced to eat in random places like staircases and under trees, cut off from others and fight against the elements.

Currently raising funds to purchase a canopy tent. A much-needed upgrade to the current homeless eating area for the Sudbury district. With your financial support and my strength, focus and awareness we can transform a profoundly sick society one mission at a time.

So far collected 5 picnic tables, 4 donated. Please show your support today!
