Sudden onset diabetes

Hi this is Margaret, Christopher’s wife. I am reaching out because we had a major life turn 7 days ago when his doctor called us at 11:48pm November 29th saying you need to take Christopher to the hospital immediately. That night he almost lost his life, due to the fact that his organs (liver an pancreas) were shutting down. Immediately he received lots of blood tests, 2 ultrasounds, 3 X-RAYS, an medication to level his high blood levels. His glucose was over 500 an his AC1 was 15% , AST over 200 and ALT over 300 when they are supposed to be less than 40. His vision is getting worse over the last few days and he can’t feel his finger tips at all. The doctor did say some skin my come off an gel need to wait for the new skin to grow back to even then maybe have the feeling back. The hospital has now become our second home an is the hardest thing I have ever gone through but even more so our 3 boys CJ (Chris Jr) Caleb and Lucas miss him more than ever. CJ asks me everyday why can’t daddy come home and be with me. Caleb just cry’s on my shoulder an says he can’t live without his daddy an well of course Lucas is way to young so all he does is just replete saying the word DADA it’s like he can’t say my name anymore. He is the rock of his family an does everything taking care of the kids. It’s not going to be easy going forward and the machine pump, medicine, patches, are just a very small piece of this. It is really hard for me to ask for help but people told me I will need to, so even though this is very difficult for me I guess I need to stop going through things alone. Anything at will help.
