On August 10, 2018 I got a call from my mom telling me Uncle Rich had suddenly passed away while diving in Monterey. It took a minute for this news to sink in. Memories of my uncle were flashing through my mind as sadness took over and the tears couldn't be held back. I thought to myself, how could this happen? why did this happen? is this true?
Uncle Rich was such a positive person who could make anyone laugh and smile. He was an amazing person who will forever be missed. He touched the lives of so many. Not only was he a great family man and friend but also a passionate coach who has positively impacted so many young peoples lives.
My Auntie Nene and Uncle Rich are the best to be around. They love each other so much. I look up to them and their example of true soulmates. Auntie Nene needs our support, not just monetarily but spiritually. Please send your love and support to her, Jaylen, and Kiana.
