Sue Ann Reyes

Our dear friend and colleague, Sue Ann Reyes, is in desperate need of help.

Sue Ann has served the State of Texas in city government for many years. Sue Ann served the City of Midland, Hondo, and currently the City of San Antonio.

On January 09, 2024 Sue Ann underwent unexpected open-heart surgery due to an aneurysm of a main artery in her heart.

On February 15, 2024 during the follow up appointment for clearance to return to work, it was discovered she had fluid built up around her lungs which resulted in having to be admitted back into the hospital to drain the fluids.

Sue Ann has not been cleared to return to work. She has only been in her current position with the City of San Antonio since September 2023 therefore did not qualify for short-term disability nor did she have enough leave to cover her absence.

Any relief you can provide Sue Ann to help cover life’s expenses while she is out of work would be appreciated.
