We all have individuals in our lives who better us by the way they love, encourage and serve. For many of us, Sue Thayer was that person. Sue's heart motivated her work and guided her commitments. She was a beautiful example of grace and truth. Her persistence through many hurdles kept her purpose and passion strong and consistent. Not only did Sue work hard while blessing others, but she also knew how to find joy and fun along the way. We all loved her passion and "we can do it" spirit.

On December 21, 2021 Sue Thayer stepped into the arms of Jesus. It brings a smile to my face and tears to my eyes when I think of her Savior saying, "Well done, my good and faithful Sue." Sue finished the race and fought the good fight of faith while loving others well. She left a legacy we will all remember and hold dear. We have peace in knowing she is worshipping the Creator and author of life.

Sue has spent her life loving and doing for others. May we now come together and do something for her beautiful family. All funds raised will be gifted to her family as they prepare to walk the journey ahead of them. It is our turn to bless and love.

Sue has had a tremendous impact on my life and has been a faithful and close friend. We love you and will miss you. If she has been a blessing to you and your family, please share in the comments.

Hebrews 12:1-4

"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart."

Sue finished the race with her eyes fixed on Jesus. My prayer for each of us is that we will fix our eyes upon Jesus while we run the race with perseverance.
