Who this will help

My name is Audrey, I am Sue's granddaughter. We recently started this to raise money to help with her funeral expenses after learning her life insurance had lapsed. Everything that has been raised has already been given to the funeral home, we will continue to keep this up in hopes we can raise more to put towards the remaining expenses.

Why I'm fundraising

My grandmother (my world) had become very sick these last few weeks to the point she wasn't eating or drinking anything and became very frail. She was taken to the emergency room to find out she had stage 4 lung cancer that had spread all throughout her body quickly that send her to her final home yesterday. Her health has been declining over recent months, her memory being one of the top things. My family went to arrange her funeral services earlier to find out the insurance she has been paying on for years had lapsed last month in the middle of her health really declining. We became aware today that there was nothing we could do with her insurance, her funeral services with state insurance came to 6500.00 but they did their best to help and agreed to 3500.00 to bury her. We are asking for any and all help we can get to just make sure she is buried properly the way she deserves. If anyone could help with even just a few dollars we would greatly appreciate it. I know she has always been well known in the community for many years for her mowing services with her father Cecil Allen, helping at auctions for her brother Bob Allen, and for being born here and never leaving. If anyone can find it in themselves to help give her the beautiful send off that she deserves we would appreciate it.
