David Howland needs our help........

Hello, my name is Robi Hodge.

I am fundraising for a dear friend and fellow musician, David Howland.

David and I go back to the mid '70s when we put together a rock and roll band called Hooker. We had a pretty good following and were making a real impact on the Houston music scene.

As the saying goes, very few things last forever and our time playing together eventually came to an end. Our friendship never waivered and we are friends to this day.

We went our separate ways but never lost the love of playing music or talking to each other about our lives and situations.

David now finds himself in dire financial straights to go along with deteriorating medical issues and I have committed to helping him as best I can. That is what friends do for each other when they are able.

David has a very meager SSI income that will not sustain him in these times of financial trouble and now finds himself being homeless.

I have decided to start this account in the hopes that I can help David through these difficult times.

I am going to appeal to all those who knew David through the years and that enjoyed his music as well as his friendship to donate whatever you can to help him.

These funds will be used to help David get shelter and food in the short run while also helping him get settled in a more permanent situation.
