Help Ben Bear The Weight

Ben Fugate, 22 years old, was hit by a 4-wheeler along with 3 women. They were all standing in a group when the 4-wheeler crashed into them. His sister, Autumn Fugate, was a witness to the tragic accident. He took the worst of the crash and was rushed to UC Health Cincinnati. He had extensive surgery to reconstruct his left leg & foot. There are multiple more surgeries to come. He will be non-weight bearing for months and no timeline on walking again.

Unfortunately, Ben didn’t have health insurance at this time because his father, best friend, and rock was killed in 2018. His 2 siblings, Autumn & Nathaniel Fugate, became uninsured because of this as well. Their mother, Jennifer King, (Registered Nurse) had them reinsured until she had reconstructive knee surgery at the beginning of 2020. Resulting in losing her job.

Ben is a hard-working responsible young man, with a 5-year old daughter that he has a responsibility to provide for. Ben has been through a lot in these last couple of years both, mentally and physically. His mom will be taking off work to care for him through this painful time. We appreciate anything financially that will help lighten the stress through this journey... Prayers are the most important!
