Help Suicide Awareness - Fund Raising for Papyrus

Hi, My name is Ewan, I am looking to raise money for the charity Papyrus. Papyrus looks to bring awarness and support to young people whom are suffering with suicidal thoughts, tendencies or otherwise negative mental heath. They offer training courses in suicide prevention and how to spot, speak and assist those who are struggling. Their motives and aims are something I truly value and hold dear to my heart. I had previously struggled with my own mental health, and through receiving the help I needed I had managed to pull through onto the otherwise. However this is not always the case. Here are just a few of the official statistics that highlight the severity of this epidemic.

*In 2022, 1,796 young people under the age of 35 took their own lives in the UK.

*On average, around five young people take their lives each day.

* Over 200 teenagers are lost to suicide every year.

So, if you are struggling. Reach out. Talk to somebody. It doesn't matter who. But please just talk to somebody. I lost a good friend of mine as a result of suicide and she did not deserve to lose her battle.
