SUIT-UP to Fight Domestic Violence
Tax deductible
Ten years ago I watched my friend Jenny run the Chicago Marathon; she even stopped mid-race to make me do a burpee! After the race I promised her she could watch me run it the next year, but months later she was taken from us by domestic violence. Since then, I've followed her lead to be the change I want to see in the world, and to be the best version of myself.
10 years and 11 marathons later, it's time for a special challenge: let's SUIT-UP to fight domestic violence!
I'm headed back to where it started - the Chicago Marathon. To bring awareness to this cause I will be running in a full suit. Jacket, slacks, shirt, tie, the whole deal. I'll also stop to do a burpee with anyone that's up to do it with me, so if you see a man in a suit running by just yell burpee!
All money raised will go to the National Domestic Violence Hotline, and any donation will help make an impact. No one should feel trapped in an abusive relationship, and this resource is a lifeline to those that need it most.
