Sulzen Pandemic Debt Relief
Donation protected
We are the Sulzens (Fort Cavasos, TX). In November 2019 (with a five-month-old in tow), we opened a boot and western wear store in Houston and hired two employees. Startup costs were to be recouped with the Houston Rodeo season, but the Covid pandemic mandated our storefront be closed and the Rodeo canceled. Then a temp employee stole $24,000 in merchandise, and insurance only recouped $5k. Also, that Spring, we lost an early pregnancy which was extra hard. When in the summer the 2021 Houston Rodeo got canceled, we were forced to shut down the business after only nine months of operation. Four years later and the debt burden with interest rates is getting unmanageable. We're asking for help with half of the $140,000 debt. Relief from this financial stressor would put us in a better position to consider fostering and adoption choices for our family. Contributions may also be sent via Cashapp $turrisdavidica or Venmo @hs0077. No amount is too small. Thank you and God reward you!
