Sumaya’s Story
Salam,
By the will of Allah (swt) I intend on raising money for the national autistic society because this charity has personally been very important to me and my family. My little sister sumaya has been diagnosed with severe autism spectrum disorder amongst other diagnoses, and this maybe a shock to most people as I never ever talk about it with anyone, but myself and my siblings help my mum, who is very much alone with this, in caring for sumaya and ensuring she gets the most out of her beautiful life, our little sumaya has been through some challenges because of her disability and this ranges from mistreatments of her old mainstream school to everyday trials that’s Sumaya faces to every other thing that my mum fights for just so sumaya can get the most out of her life , my mum goes through so much and She does everything she can to make sure sumaya has the best life she can, my mum is my role model and inspiration. Sadly, because of the lack of time I have and due to most of my time that I spend with my sister I haven’t got the chance to actually do an event, but I thought that I could share my story and raise awareness across my social media platforms and raise money. Due to the amazing amount of support and aid from this charity my mum has had so much help in so many that ways you can’t even imagine. This charity does so much, helps every single family it can and I just want to do my part to give them something back and raise money so that they can help other families just like ours, I love my little sumaya and I wouldn’t change her for the world, she is special and unique in her own beautiful and wonderful ways and I love her so much. I hope you guys can help me on this journey and just raise some money for this beautiful charity.
