Summer Holiday Food Fundraising

Hi all

as you know East Renfrewshire Larder has been going for a few years now and the struggle to keep up with demand gets harder every week. Summer holidays are a really tough time for families with school meals no longer being provided and parents having to make their groceries go even further. We aim to supply all those who need it with breakfast, lunch, dinner packs to tide them over for a couple of days as well as pet food, nappies, toiletries and cleaning products. We are currently spending an average of £300 per week on fresh groceries and sadly we are now struggling due to a severe shortage of funds. This appeal is to ask if our wonderful supporters can spare £10 to help a family during the holidays - we do our very best to make our funds go as far as we possibly can - all those who work at the larder are volunteers and as such all monies go towards helping our neighbours in the community.
