Come Together for Summer & Hudson, Precious Twins

Have you ever felt helpless when someone close to you has found themselves with an enormous emotional and financial need? Hi, I’m Evelyn, Godmother of Allison Crowner, now the mother of 4, two of whom, premature twins, were born 3 months early at just 1.5 lbs each.

Allie gave birth to Summer Rose and Hudson Wells on July 25, 2022 while on vacation with her family in Maine. Having a healthy pregnancy, who could have predicted that she would give birth this soon when her due date was on Halloween? No one!

As you can imagine, the planning for the Twins full term birth was already demanding, given that Allie and Mike have a son, Jackson who just turned one in June and a 15 year old daughter, Alexis! But now, after a critically needed, early C-section to deliver the twins, the babies are in Maine Medical Center in the Neonatal intensive care unit for specialized life saving care and surgeries. Their health needs may keep them in the hospital until their due date of Halloween.

When I ask how we can help, I think, what can we really do?! That’s when I realized that the only way to truly ease their challenges ahead was to come together and raise money to offset their health insurance deductibles and co-pays, lengthy stay hospital bills, lodging/meals in Maine( far from their Massachusetts home), and preparations for the babies homecoming which will require doubles of everything!
