Help Lucas-MIAMI-Summer Ballet


Lucas, in case you don't already know him has been dancing since 3rd grade with one of the best ballet schools in the United States. (He is currently in 8th grade.) Last summer he had the amazing opportunity to spend five weeks in Columbus, Ohio with some awesome people at Ballet Met; yet another great ballet school (thanks to EVERYONE who helped us last year!!) and boy, did he learn a LOT! He came back knowing so much more, feeling more confident and ambitious, and with lots more friends than ever. It was his first summer away, and it was a fantastic experience.

This summer Lucas has the opportunity to go all the way to Miami, Florida to study there...he's beyond excited and really ready to learn! The funds he's asking for are needed to cover the cost of a place to stay which will be very close to the beach and walking distance from the studio, travel costs to get there, and equipment and gear that will be required.

The deadline for putting down a deposit for his room and board just passed, but we are hoping that space will still be available; we need to put down $1500 to hold a place ASAP and another $1500 by April 17th. Of course plane ticket prices change all the time and we should purchase those ASAP. We have until the second week of June to purchase the necessary gear and equipment. 

Supporting Lucas in following his dreams means so much to him and our family, we never would have known we had such a talented dancer in the family!
