Summer Surge - Homeless Cats and Kittens need RESCUE!!

We have launched a new GoFundMe to help us dig out of what feels like insurmountable debt at our main veterinary clinic.

We are rescuing more than we should be but how do you say no to homeless suffering kittens. Homeless pregnant cats. Homeless…any of them!

We still focus on “Juan’s colonies” - what used to be over 175 cats and ever-birthed kittens, is now down to 60-70 because we rescued over 130 just from this small area in the south Bronx! We are NOT STOPPING until every kitten and cat is rescued!!

The real reason for the endless need for funds, stems from a new and complete lack of low cost vetting in the NYC area. Street rescuers have been SO dependent on the ASPCA for affordable vetting for their rescue animals - $45 for all services. It was unbeatable.

With chronic staffing shortages, in this month of July, hundreds of rescue groups were offered - are you ready for this - 45 spay / neuter spots for cats and kittens. For the entire borough of NYC! With half a million homeless cats and kittens, we are going wildly and sadly, in the wrong direction.

As we have been forced to use our full service vet, who does give us incredible service and discounts, we now have a $13,000 debt. We MUST get this bill halved in order to continue rescuing.

Summer is here and so is kitten season. We can’t stop now. Please turn your piggy bank over and send some rescue cats some support!

Our super-meowdel Nathan, has already cost us almost $1,300, for initial vetting, boarding, and an emergency visit.
