Summer at SongFest
Donation protected
Dear All,
I am currently a Junior at the Eastman School of Music, where I am pursuing a degree in Vocal Performance under the instruction of Anthony Dean Griffey.
This summer I will be following Professor Griffey to SongFest. I have been accepted into their Young Artist's program, which is a four-week art song festival held at the Colburn School in Los Angeles, California. There I will have the opportunity to continue private voice lessons, perform in recitals for the community, and participate in coachings and masterclasses with current composers, pedagogues, and other artists.
This is a very exciting opportunity, but it is also expensive. Including tuition, room and board the cost is $4,400. With the generous support of my family, and of the Friends of Eastman Opera I am able to cover over half of the expenses, but I am looking to the art and music-loving community to help me with the rest.
Every little bit will be deeply appreciated. You will be helping me to learn and grow as a musician in order that I may better give back to you the audience, and share my joy of song and life!
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any and all support you are able to offer.
Sincerely,
Addie Rose Brown
