Summerland Unity
Donation protected
On behalf of the entire Lekhi Family, we want to start off by thanking all those who have shown their support in so many different ways in the last few days.
We understand that we are not the only ones who have experienced racism or are suffering after this incident.
Our family, along with the support of the District of Summerland, would like to raise funds to create a mural, a large sign or another eternal symbol that can be placed in our community. This symbol is a sign of unity, a celebration of diversity and a reflection of the positivity that resonates in Summerland.
If you want to show your support, we ask you donate to the GoFundMe campaign. If you aren't able to, we hope you can start a conversation with those around you and explain to them that racism is not dead, racism is not a foreign concept and especially, that racism will not bring us down.
Lots of Love,
The Lekhi Family
