Support for the Paiva’s

Hi everyone- my name is Christina and I am fundraising for my sister-in-law Summerly Paiva. On March 21, 2023 Summerly, who was 32 weeks pregnant at the time, wasn’t feeling well and experiencing not-so normal pregnancy symptoms. She knew something wasn’t right so she called her doctor and they told her to go to the hospital to get checked out. From that point forward doctors would uncover gallbladder stones, preeclampsia, protein in her liver among other issues.

Days of being in the hospital with no answers to what was causing her liver issues, it was time for her baby boy to make his big debut to the world on March 25, 2023.

Since then her condition has only worsened and she’s now in ICU at another hospital over an hour away from her baby. Her husband, Felippe, has been out of work doing his best to be by her side while other family members visit with the baby who remains in the NICU.

My goal is to help them through the financial burdens. Unfortunately bills still need to be paid and the hospital bills are mounting.

This is their first baby and it’s been extremely tough on her and the entire family.
