Summit for O.N.E., Summit for all

I am Marcas O'Raghallaigh, a transition year student at Mount Temple Comprehensive in Dublin, Ireland. I was invited to the launch of the O.N.E. Fuchsia Appeal in October and was impressed by their cause, and by the dedication and sacrifices of members of the defence forces at home, abroad, and with the United Nations.

Help me summit Carrauntoohil, the highest mountain in Ireland, with a team of six students, two teachers, and two veterans to raise money for OGLAIGH NAISIUNTA NA HEIREANN/ORGANISATION OF EX-SERVICE PERSONNEL, a charity that supports veterans of the Irish Defence Forces.

Our summit journey is planned for February 25, 2022. All funds raised will go to support goals of O.N.E.

Óglaigh Náisiúnta na hÉireann (ONE) / Organisation of National Ex-Service Personnel provides Support, Comradeship, Advocacy and Remembrance (SCAR) for Irish Veterans. ONE is a company limited by guarantee (328824) and a charity registered with both the Charities Regulatory Authority (RCN: 20044268) and the Revenue Commissioners (CHY 13868) for veterans of the Defence Forces. The charity offers Defence Forces veterans housing and support, with the ultimate goal of accessing permanent accommodation, improving mental health and preventing future homelessness. Headquartered in Smithfield, Dublin 7, the charity runs 37 branches across Ireland, along with 15 support centres and 4 Veterans Hostels in Cobh, Dublin, Athlone and Letterkenny, with a fifth being planned for Cork City.
