Sun Hyang and Nami Restaurant need our help.

Dear Friend,

Our friend, Sun Hyang, owner of Nami Restaurant in Morehead City, suffered a medical emergency a few days after Christmas that landed her in the Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill. She stayed in ICU for three weeks. We don’t know currently when she will leave the hospital or how long her recovery might take.

In the meantime, Nami Restaurant is closed and her employees face an uncertain future. We don’t know if Nami, Sun’s lifelong dream and labor of love, will reopen. But we are holding onto hope.

Thank you for all the prayers offered on Sun’s behalf. Now is the time to put our prayers into action. Please consider donating whatever you can to help Sun and Nami Restaurant to keep going. We can’t control Sun’s health; that is in the hands of the doctors, who are doing all they can. What we can do is provide the funds so that Sun and Nami have a fighting chance once she is back on her feet.
