SUNBRIGHT HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL FIELD RENOVATION

My name is Woody Smith and I along with several others in the Sunbright community am trying to raise money to renovate the Sunbright High School baseball field. Our school field has not been playable in several years due to many different issues. Over the past four or five years, the team has had to play all of its games on the road and find various other places to practice. As a community, we know that our kids deserve better. They deserve a baseball field that is safe and reliable to practice and play games. Anyone who has ever played sports can agree that there are pride and benefits to playing on your home field. Funds are needed to resurface the playing field, purchase new bases, re-create the pitching mound, replace fencing, reinforce existing dugouts, create ditch lines to help with water flow due to erosion, add gravel to an existing road so that elderly and handicapped fans can have access to the field, etc. Any amount of donations would help and would be greatly appreciated.
