Sundara Yoga & Wellness Nonprofit Creation

Hello!  In case we haven't met, my name is Holly Robison, and I am the owner and founder of Sundara Yoga.  Our yoga studio is located in Los Alamitos, CA.  My vision is to turn our existing for-profit studio into a nonprofit wellness center, offering donation-based classes and wellness offerings to everyone, regardless of their financial situation.

We will expand our yoga and meditation teachings to prisons, schools (after-school programs and/or during class time), senior centers, cancer centers and hospitals,  homeless shelters, and domestic violence centers.

We believe that yoga and wellness shouldn't just be available to the well-off.  We want to bring these tools of self care to as many people as possible, with the emphasis of our outreach programs being towards low-income populations.

We've created this GoFundMe account in an effort to help raise money to establish the nonprofit.  Your generous donations will go towards the enormous fees associated with nonprofit submission, as well as allowing us to begin our outreach programs.  

Our goal is to submit the necessary paperwork required to file for our 501(c)(3) status by the end of 2019.  With your help, that goal will be expedited and our community outreach programs can begin sooner.

Our Mission:  Sundara Yoga & Wellness brings yoga, meditation, and other wellness modalities to diverse populations for personal transformation and empowerment, regardless of socioeconomic status, cultural differences, age, gender, or physical and cognitive abilities.
