Suni and Atlas Grooms Memorial Fund

Suni Grooms and her one-month-old daughter, Atlas Grooms, were double murder victims in Denver, Colorado, on January 13th, 2021 when Suni's boyfriend decided to take their lives, as well as his own. This horrendous act of murder of mother and child has broken many hearts across the world. Now we look to prolong the legacy of Suni and Atlas through donations. All donations made in their names to the Suni and Atlas Grooms Memorial Fund will help future nurses continue to give back to our beautiful world. 

In her spare time, Suni did what she loved, traveling to save lives worldwide with Global Health Initiatives. She worked at Parker Adventist Hospital for nine years. Her compassion for her patients, paired with her sparkling personality and free independent attitude, made her loved by all and made her patients and their families to want to spend time with her outside of her professional life, even including her in their family holidays. She found a way to connect with people no matter where she was and made friends everywhere she went. 

Suni realized her biggest dream when her beautiful daughter, Atlas, was born on December 8th, 2020. Atlas will now be with her mother on what most people refer to as the next big adventure and will be by her side as she navigates the next world, with as much strength and love as she did this one. 

Suni and Atlas’s legacy can continue through a memorial fund that gives back to our world. Her nursing career was more than just a job, it made a difference.  Any donations made in her name to the Suni and Atlas Grooms Memorial Fund will help future nurses continue this legacy of giving back.
