Help Sunny Fight for His Life!**

Dear friends and family,

I’m reaching out today with a heavy heart to ask for your support for my brother and his fiancée as they navigate a truly challenging and scary time with their beloved rescue pup, Sunny. Sunny is currently fighting for his life, and any help you can provide would mean the world to them.

For those who have had the pleasure of knowing Sunny, you understand what a loving and gentle soul he is. If you haven’t met him yet, let me share his heartfelt story with you.

Sunny was born in Texas and found as a stray alongside his two sisters and mom. He faced a tough start in life that required surgery to remove both of his eyes. After his recovery, he made the journey north with his siblings in search of forever homes. My brother and his fiancée came across Sunny’s pictures and instantly fell in love with him. They bravely decided to take on the responsibilities of welcoming him into their lives, fully aware of the challenges they would face caring for a blind dog who would grow to weigh over 100 pounds. Their love and dedication to Sunny have been nothing short of inspiring.

However, shortly after they adopted him, Sunny began experiencing seizures, which have become more frequent and severe. He had been seizure-free for about a month, but tragically, he suffered two bad seizures on October 29, 2024, just three hours apart. This has caused fluid to accumulate in his lungs, leading to a critical situation where he is struggling to get enough oxygen.

My brother and his fiancée are doing everything they can to provide Sunny with the care he needs, most of these expenses are going to be out of pocket. We are not 100% sure this is the case but having to make decisions and the cost makes things so much more stressful. Right now he is getting treatments to help reduce the fluid and help him breathe but if that doesnt work he will need to be on a ventilator which could cost up to $30,000.

As fellow pet parents, we all understand how devastating and overwhelming this situation can be.

Today, I’m asking for your help. If you can contribute financially to help cover Sunny’s medical expenses, it would relieve some of the financial stress my brother and his fiancée are facing during this incredibly difficult time. Every little bit counts, and your support will go directly toward Sunny’s treatment and care.
