Sunnyside City Camp Comeback 2022

After 10 straight years of watching Sunnyside City Camp grow to heights we never expected could be possible, the pandemic shut us down for the last 2 years.

However, 20 JCs (former campers, now in college) have agreed to return and completely volunteer (and even take time off of work in many cases!) and organize one week of City Camp all on their own this summer in order to resurrect City Camp and begin to re-grow it back to its pre-pandemic level.

This year, because we don't have the usual teams to help financially support us, we are looking for help from folks like you who have cared about our ministry here in Sunnyside, Queens--a ministry that has provided a safe and fun summer camp experience for children of underserved families in our neighborhood since 2009.

So, would you be willing to financially support our efforts here in Queens?

Any and every gift will be very much appreciated, and will go to ensure that, at least for one week in 2022 (and for longer lengths in the future), parents and children who ordinarily rely on school meals and after-school care will be supported and cared for. And, in fact, we intend to offer more than just care! Our goal is to provide a first-class camping experience for those who would not ordinarily be able to afford it.
