SUNNYSIDE SKY HOUSE Public Access Defibrillator
Donation protected
Here at Sunnyside, we believe in helping our community and ensuring we all live together in a safe and healthy environment. Sky House is one Sunnyside’s 4 houses and are in charge of fundraising at Sunnyside and we would like to all come together and raise money for a Public Access Defibrillator which would be placed at Craigend shops. Every week around 70 people have cardiac arrest at home giving CPR can increase survival however, by using a defibrillator that chance of survival increases even more. St John's Ambulance run a scheme that helps us to get this life saving equipment, by raising £1000 St. John's Ambulance service will contribute the remaining funds. However, we would like to ensure this defibrillator can be maintained for years to come so, by raising £1500 we can ensure we have adequate money to replace the battery and pads. St John's Ambulance will give training for anyone who wants to recieve it free of charge but the defibrillator will have step by step instructions on how to use and where to place the pads in the case of an emergency. FARE Scotland will be helping us to raise these funds and hope you can all contribute however big or small. Look out for our posters and use the QR code to make a donation if you can.
Help us to help our community.
