Help the Yeos: Philadelphia Store Looted & Burned

Adweek article: featuring our store
This fundraiser was created to support Young Yeo and Jin-Hee Yeo, the Philadelphia-based small-business owners and parents of my roommate, Jenn Yeo.
On the evening of May 31st, Sun Pay beauty supply store was looted and set on fire in central Philadelphia, resulting over $650k worth of lost product and arson damages.
Young and Jin-Hee are South Korean immigrants that came to the states 18 years ago with their two children to establish a new life. On Sunday, they watched on CCTV as 30 individuals broke through SunPay's shutters and swarmed the store, decimating their many years of hard work.
They are one of many POC-owned businesses that have been caught in the crossfire of the violence that has engulfed Philadelphia. This comes as a devastating blow to the Yeos, who had already been forced to shut down their store since March. They had been looking forward to opening next week, and are instead faced with trying to recoup from this major setback.
At this moment, damages have been appraised at around $650-700k, and the expected insurance payout is at $595k. This doesn't include lawyer and broker fees, as well as interim spending on clean-up and damage control. All funds raised will go towards bridging this financial gap. Thank you for your support.
If you'd like to send funds to Jenn directly, her venmo handle is @Jennifer-Yeo.
