Super Mya’s Fight Against Cancer

Hello! My name is Kaylee and I am raising money for my niece Mya and her family, Heidi and Jesse Maye as well as their two eldest children Frankie and Gabby. A little over a month ago, Mya who is only 2 years old was diagnosed with B-Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. Some of the worst news to have to receive as a parent and the kind of news that completely turned my sister and brother-in-laws families life upside down, including their two eldest children’s lives. Frankie, who is 9 years old and Gabby who is 8 have shown strength and love for their little sister only they would know how to; however, words cannot capture how hard this has been for them as well durning this time.

Mya has begun her cancer treatments with immense strength and courage for being only 2 years old. Mya travels to Children’s Hospital of Milwaukee twice a week and will do so for the next two years of her life. This amounts to a over 6 hour round trip car rides two times a week, over 700 miles a week. Countless nights in the hospital with mom and dad by her side, and seemingly endless medical bills. Amongst her chemotherapy treatments, she has battled with loosing her strength to walk as well as the doctors found a blockage/clot in her brain they are currently treating.

Mya has begun her battle with cancer with a Super Hero like strength. In fact, we consider her to be SUPER MYA.
