Super Shell

Hi my name is Lisa and as most of you know my close friend Michelle was diagnosed with incurable secondary breast cancer nearly 5 years ago. I have lost count of how many different types of chemotherapy treatments she has had, some have worked and some haven't. Unfortunatley the last 2 treatments havent worked and the tumours on her liver have increased. Michelle is running out of options but I know her and chris will never give up looking. There are a couple of NHS options out there at the moment but Michelle and Chris have been told that they would only add months to her life (thats if they worked) and they are weighing up whether its worth trying them or not. I have seen first hand how tough these chemotherapies are. Can you imagine been on a highly toxic drug for nearly 5 years that destroys your immune system, makes you loose your hair, sickness, diarrhoea, fatigue, aches, pains, the side effects are endless and Michelle has always soldiered on with a smile on her face, telling everyone she is ok, because she would hate for anyone to think any different. She stays strong not just for herself but for her children and everyone around her because thats just the person she is. I also know how much Michelle and Chris have proactively done, from the change of diet, the supplements, the private care from Care Oncology, the electric therapy machine, Radionic treatment, private consultations with the Christie Centre in Manchester, again it is endless but again they never ask for help they just get on and deal with it. Their recent consultation with the Christie Centre has provided them with some private healthcare options, but they all cost thousands, one treatment alone is £4000 and another is £25,000. I am setting this page up as I would love for Michelle and Chris to have options and not have to worry about funding them alone, I would also love for them to get out there and make as many memories as they possibly can as a family. So I am reaching out for your help to help me help them. I will be eternally grateful for every penny we raise. Thank you xxxx
