Super Snack Drive for St. Vincent de Paul

Hello St. Charles!
Each class at St. Charles focuses on a Catholic Social Teaching (CST) throughout the year. In 6th grade the CST is caring for the poor and vulnerable. Something that we do to care for the poor and vulnerable is to collect Super Snacks for St. Vincent de Paul. They distribute our super snacks to those in need in San Mateo county each month.
However, during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have not been physically together at school, so we have not collected super snacks. Our idea is that through this GoFund me page, families might consider donating the amount of money they would have spent on their super snacks the past few months.
We contacted St. Vincent de Paul and they said that what they are short on the most in this difficult time is money. As more families lose their jobs, they are getting more and more daily calls for help with rent, medicine, bills, etc. They are blessed to be supported by the local food bank and receive many food donations daily, but they could really use more financial support to help those in need.
The 6th Grade class and St. Vincent de Paul, would really appreciate your support. It means a lot to us and to SVDP.
