Superhero Connie Glenn lifts a Car

Hello dear friend! My name is Jackie Strouse Schible, and I’m starting this GoFundMe for a very dear soul, Connie Glenn and her family. At the end of March, Connie was injured helping a stranger who had a car fall on him. During the assistance she provided, she was deeply injured. Here’s what happened from Connie’s perspective: "24 hours ago, we were sitting in our living room drinking coffee when we heard someone screaming for their life outside our apartment. I called 911 and ran out to help a guy trapped under a car. We lifted the car and got the guy out, and he was taken in an ambulance. While lifting the car, there was a pop in my back, and it turns out I fractured my spine. I don't know the guy, and I don't know what happened to him, but I hope and pray that he will make it. And that my broken back can heal quickly so I can get back to my regularly scheduled life."

Sadly, even though Connie and her family had fantastic intentions and likely helped save this man’s life, her injury has led to immense healthcare bills. When I heard the story, I offered to help and set up a GoFundMe, knowing that others would want to help them, especially since they had generously helped another.
