Superhero Levi vs Leukemia

"No matter how many times you save the world, it always manages to get back in jeopardy again. Sometimes I just want it to stay saved!" - Mr. Incredible
The engagement between superhero and supervillain is the classic battle so many children fathom and desire. Yet, countless children are suiting up for battle each and every day against the most terrorizing supervillain we all are far too familiar with, cancer.
Levi, at the age of 2 years old began his battle with high-risk lymphoblastic leukemia in March of 2018. He faced many challenges as a child diagnosed with autism and episodic seizures, but after countless days and continuous treatment Levi achieved remission. He went through years of chemotherapy and radiation following his remission trying to get back to a normal life. In August of 2020, he beat COVID-19 and was able to finish his cancer treatment a year early.
If you knew Levi you would know he loves two things more than anything, Mr. Incredible and his younger sister Violet (3 years old). The inseparable bond between them makes it that much harder to endure the pain Levi and his family are going through; but like Mr. Incredible said, no matter how many times you save the world, it always manages to get back in jeopardy.
This time, in March of 2021 his parents brought him to the Riley Children's Hospital ER in Indianapolis Indiana due to Levi having concerning symptoms of leg pain and rib pain. His laboratory assessments returned abnormal in which they were instructed to return back the very next day. Levi was getting weaker with every passing day which was evident something wasn't right. The oncology team decided to perform a bone marrow aspiration and a lumbar puncture to see if there was any signs of cancer reoccurrence. The results signified Levi had relapsed, this time being much more aggressive. The leukemia had spread to his central nervous system. Following the news, the oncology team quickly admitted Levi and initiated treatment immediately. He went to surgery on March 20th to place his port and began chemotherapy shortly after in hopes to once again beat this never ending villain. On Tuesday March 24th, the Riley Leukemia Director specified that Levi will more than likely need a bone marrow transplant.
This unrelenting event has come at the most inconvenient of times. With the world still battling the effects of COVID-19, its only increased the hardship Levi and his family have had to endure. With his father Gio running out of leave days at work and his mother fighting to support his younger sister and endure the pain brought upon her son it comes in great need of your help, of our help in anyway possible to relieve some of these unnecessary burdens.
Unfortunately, Levi's second battle has just begun and although this times its stronger and harder than ever the superhero tenacity he has will strengthen him to fight through this once again. I'm confident that in this great time of need we can come together as Levi's sidekicks and support him through this journey to ultimately overcome such a terrorizing villain. Help me reunite Levi with his sister Violet and come that much closer to saving Levi's world and keeping it "saved"!
For Levi is the true Mr. Incredible!
Thank you so much in advance for supporting Levi and his family whether that's through donation or simply sharing his journey. Every single person makes such an incredible impact.
