Superkids Giving Tuesday Fundraiser

In early 2023, a mother approached us with an interesting request: Could her fifteen-year-old daughter join our middle school program, despite the fact that she was out of the age range? You see, Estefani wanted to become a teacher one day, and she thought Teen Teachers would be a perfect early training program. We gladly accepted Estefani and watched her shine as she became a leader to our middle school Jovenes Profes, helping to explain instructions for reading, writing, and vocabulary assignments.

Though we have gotten pushback in the past, Superkids has introduced teaching strategies that are familiar in the US but considered innovative in a Paraguayan context. We teach literacy by *teaching letters* as the building blocks. We teach any lesson with care, passion, and attention to detail. We always put children first.

As Superkids gains recognition for strategies that work, we hope to build a stronger partnership with current and future teachers like Estefani who want to help our pedagogy of love become standard practice!
