Help Send Carlsbad's SuperSonics to 3v3 Nationals

Donation protected
The Carlsbad, New Mexico SuperSonics did it! After a full summer of 3v3 & 5v5 tournaments, and multiple tournament championships, Carlsbad's own 2015 age group SuperSonics Soccer team is ranked #1 in New Mexico, #18 in the Nation & is headed to 3v3 Live Nationals in West Palm Beach, FL November 25-27 to battle against the top 25 teams in the nation!

We are a team, but more importantly, we are the SuperSonics family! The league team consists of 6 kids, ages 6 & 7. Our special, hardworking players are Bria, Carter, Kieran, Jax, Rylan & Vivian.

Started in 2019 by Team Manager & Head Coach Jaime Aguilera, the SuperSonics league team had played in numerous 3v3 tournaments in the Carlsbad area before 2022. In the summer of 2022, the team gained new players and really began to hit a new stride as a team. Through the summer of 2022, SuperSonics won the 2015 age group in the 3v3 Live Roswell Tournament, then won the 3v3 Warrior Carlsbad Tournament, then won the 3v3 Artesia Tournament. In July 2022, the SuperSonics played in the 3v3 Live Regionals and lost by one goal in the Regional Championship to the Lubbock Mustangs (ranked #7 in the nation).

This successful summer of soccer for the SuperSonics led to the team being nationally ranked in both the 3v3 Live and 5v5 Warrior tours. For the Warrior Tour, the SuperSonics are ranked #1 in the Nation & #1 in New Mexico for the 2015 age group. For the 3v3 Live Tour, the SuperSonics finished the season ranked #1 in New Mexico & #18 in the Nation for the 2015 age group. *The team has been invited to compete in Nationals for the 3v3 Live National Championships against the other Top 25 teams from across the country!

The team and parents are trying to raise fees to cover the travel costs for the 6 players, 12 adults & 5 siblings.

Funds raised go toward flights, hotel rooms, meals, and transportation in West Palm Beach, FL. They are asking for help from our community to get this team of 6- and 7-year-old boys & girls to FL for this amazing, once-in-a-lifetime experience, November 25-27. To provide the families and kids with the opportunity to compete we are raising $25,000. The cost is more than usual for a team to travel since the children are small and require each group of parents to travel with them to FL & the tournament is during Thanksgiving break, which results in higher travel costs.

To those that are gracious enough to offer financial support, we want to show full transparency of the current estimated breakdown of costs:
  • $13,000 (23 round-trip flights on Southwest Airlines)
  • $6,000 (6 hotel rooms for 5 nights each, purchased through the 3v3 Live Special Accommodations)
  • $3,000 (6 rental cars)
  • $3,000 (all meals, all game-day snacks & hydration, equipment shipping costs, etc)

Any donation, no matter the size, will be humbly and gratefully appreciated. Every little bit helps get this team closer to raising the necessary funds to travel, compete and represent Carlsbad & the whole state of New Mexico on the national stage.

Please help these kids show the rest of the country the strength, skill, grit, and tenacity that symbolize Carlsbad & New Mexico Soccer.
