Supplies for Success: Empowering Children in Batticaloa

The McMaster Tamil Students’ Association is proud to partner with the Manvaasanai Foundation to support students from Grade 1 to Grade 11 at the BT/KK/Veeranagar Government Tamil Mixed School in Batticaloa, Tamileelam. This fundraiser is part of a larger initiative to uplift youth by facilitating equitable access to education.

While students in Batticaloa are driven and full of potential, many continue to face challenges with access to the basic tools needed in the classroom. Through this initiative, we hope to provide essential school supplies such as notebooks, backpacks, and stationary, along with hygiene kits and general learning materials that support day-to-day learning and well-being.
