I have been living and working in Ka’anapali for a while now and have been immersed into the community of the west side. I am trying to help those who were less fortunate than I was. My car was parked in Lahaina by the aquatic center and thought it was gone. Fortunately it was not and I was able to recover it. However, many were less fortunate and I am trying to do my part in giving back. People of the west side community of Lahaina have been greatly affected by the fires. Thousands of homes destroyed and families dispersed. Help the Lahaina community recover by donating to the food bank so that supplies can continue to be sent to Lahaina and people have access to clean water and food. Recently the water has been declared too toxic to drink. There is still no power on this side and will not be for the next 10-30 days. Please anything helps. Aloha.
