Forever in Our Hearts: Support Cody’s Legacy

Dear friends and family, I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart to share the heartbreaking news of the devastating motorcycle accident that Cody Velasco was involved in.
He was tragically hit by a 16 year old driver, resulting in severe life-threatening injuries that initially left him in critical condition, in need of leg amputation, and multiple brain surgeries. He unfortunately has passed away. Adding to this tragedy, my brother's girlfriend was also on the back of the motorcycle and suffered injuries requiring surgery, although her condition is not life-threatening. A selfless act of love, my brother had given his helmet to his girlfriend to wear, leaving him unprotected during the accident.
Cody Velasco has shown immense strength and courage in the face of this unimaginable ordeal. We were initially uncertain of the outcome of the situation, as was in critical life threatening condition. He has now been pronounced deceased.
We are reaching out to our community for support and assistance in raising funds to cover funeral expenses and any other memorial service expenses/ cost associated with honoring Cody.
Cody’s 22nd birthday was just days away. He had plans to celebrate his birthday with all his friends on Tuesday July 23rd. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference in helping support Cody during this critical time. Your generosity and kindness will contribute to ease the burden as we celebrate the life of a sweet young boy who was loved by many many many people.
