Dear Friends,

For 29 years, Tradición Peruana Cultural Center (TPCC) has brought Peruvian dance, music, and culture to the community through events, performances, and workshops across San Francisco. Founded by Juan de Dios Soto, a multidisciplinary artist and dedicated community organizer, and Lydia Soto, an esteemed choreographer and dancer, TPCC has passionately shared Afro-Peruvian music, art, and dance with the world.

After decades of working in shared spaces, we finally opened our own brick-and-mortar cultural center in 2023, creating a permanent home for Peruvian arts and education in the Mission District. Now in our second year, we need your help to keep our doors open and ensure Peru is proudly represented at this year’s Carnaval San Francisco.

Our Goal: $25,000

We’re raising $25,000 to:

✅ Keep our cultural center open – A space for classes, performances, and community events.

✅ Fund our Carnaval participation – Costumes, music, and logistics to showcase Peru’s traditions.

✅ Support affordable programs – Making culture accessible to all.

Why It Matters

We’ve hosted incredible events like Navidad Negra, D’Cajón Evolution, and Carnaval SF, but rising costs put our future at risk.
