Support 7th Heaven Employees During Closure
Since it's debut on Troost Ave. back in 1974, 7th Heaven has been a core memory for so many Kansas City natives. It's been a space for local music artists to showcase for free. It's been the spot where so many of us bought our first pipe. So much love and community has been cultivated in 7th heaven and it's been a wild and beautiful ride since day one.
With such an iconic legacy, it's not a surprise word got around very quickly after the decision was made to close the doors for good. Initially the end date that was communicated to the community was November 30th. This was also the date employees were guaranteed work until. A week ago, employees were informed their last day was changed to November 2nd. This came as a big surprise to all the employees.
Over the last couple months, we have all taken many walks down memory lane. We have reminisced on so many beautiful moments shared at this long-standing Kansas City staple. We are humbly asking that you include the current 7th heaven employees in your thoughts and efforts. We have a goal of 15k to raise for all the workers as they try to keep up with life's expenses while finding new work.
Anything helps!
Thank you so much for your time and for all the sweet memories shared!
