Support Brenden Wetzel-Medical Bills (& new boots)
Donation protected
Brenden Wetzel was involved in a traumatic accident on Friday, February 10th on his way to school. He survived but has a long road of recovery ahead of him. Brenden’s injuries were significant – an open femur fracture on his right leg, open tibia/fibula fracture on his left, a broken left ulna fracture w/ hand injury, right arm fracture, lacerated spleen, skin lacerations, a severe concussion, and internal bleeding. He required emergency surgery which lasted around six hours and will be going into surgery in a few minutes as I type this. We are so thankful he survived. Brenden also lost his prized possession – his cowboy boots - as they had to be cut off for treatment.
As you can imagine, the uncovered insurance costs will be significant, not to mention the lost time from work for his mom and dad, Raun and Josie. We don’t know exactly how long he’ll be in the hospital, but going home will not be anytime soon and his recovery will be months to years. Please join me and consider donating to the Wetzel family during this extraordinarily difficult time.
Please share to anyone who may be willing to support and thank you in advance for your contribution, prayers, and healing wishes - Brenden needs everything you've got! We love you, Brenden!
