Melissa here…..sole owner of Rosabees!! I’m an Asheville native from the great state of North Carolina who had a big dream of owning a restaurant serving up Hawaiian style cuisine. It was a huge success until we experienced Hurricane Helene.

As the waters recede, the devastation of losing our beloved Rosabees has set in. I’m creating this GoFundMe to support my staff, myself, and my family during these tragic times. We had the pleasure of serving the Asheville community for five wonderful years, bringing beautiful Hawaiian food, joy, laughter, and a sense of aloha to all.

The loss is tremendous. While we are grateful to be safe, we’re facing significant financial challenges. Any support you can offer will go directly to my staff, myself and my family to help them get through this difficult period while we await further assistance from FEMA and other sources.

Please contribute if you can, and know that every bit helps us move forward. We appreciate your kindness and generosity, and we hope to see you all again on the other side of this tragedy.

Edit **** Thank you to everyone who has contributed so far. The remaining donations will be used to recoup the loss of RosaBees. Like most businesses and homeowners in Asheville, Insurance has been denied and the tremendous amount of debt is unimaginable. I’m still hopeful that grants will become available in the future for relief. Until then, this fund can help offset the remaining balances in hopes of possibly rebuilding our beloved space.
