Support Salvo: A Dance Theater Journey

Hello friends, friends of friends, and companions in the arts, my name is Jean Fogel, I am a choreographer, performer, poet and sculptor residing in Santa Fe, NM. I am pleased to share that the last seven months have been dedicated to the creation of new work. I present Salvo, a dream like narrative developed and performed through the art of movement, dance and theater. With humor and pathos, the portrayals in Salvo confound our sense of the ordinary. Casting light on our tenuous social structures, Salvo meanders through a fantastical day as seen through the eyes of a deer. Salvo welcomes guest artists Corinna McNiece and Kirsche Dickson.

I have produced several solo performances here in Santa Fe. We are all aware that the arts, specifically the independent arts, need money to thrive. This production is alive with affirmation and originality. I believe Salvo is a performance that will impact the Santa Fe community. To further the production of Salvo we are asking for support. Any contribution that feels worthy and comfortable to you is gratefully accepted and free of expectation. Monies generated will go towards theater rental, lighting design, stage manager, photographer, videographer, and to provide a stipend for the performers.
