What’s Happening?

We are raising funds to help a dear friend escape an abusive situation. For a long time, they have been working with their community to find a way out, and now, they urgently need our support to make that happen.

Our friend is currently enrolled in graduate school and an active, caring member of their community. They deeply appreciate any and all support. For safety reasons, they are keeping their identity private. However, if verification is needed, I can route you to trusted resources who will share the situation in more detail and breakdown how funds will be used.

Why Funds Are Needed

Our friend needs to move in the next 60 days or so. The initial funds raised will allow them to relocate, securing safe housing for at least the next year, and give them greater control and agency over their life.

Beyond this immediate move, these funds will help them make a final escape, allowing them to rebuild their life with independence, safety, and stability. Their ultimate goal is to establish long-term financial security and permanent housing. Updates can be provided on request. The following is information on how the funds will be used.
