Support a Children's Book on Autism Inclusion

Hello!
As a parent of a child with autism, I have navigated, and continue to navigate, unique challenges with my son. Despite increased awareness of ASD, there continues to be a lack of representation in the media and in teaching tools that are being used to educate and influence children - particularly when it comes to social inclusion and understanding. I wanted to do my part to provide an easy, accessible way for kids to better understand that differences are a positive thing, and to promote inclusion for children that may not understand behaviors associated with ASD. To meet that need, I’ve written a children’s book about a nonverbal triceratops that saves the day!
I have been writing most of my life, but have not sought to publish any previous work. Due to my lack of publication, I have been offered a hybrid contract that requires a portion of the production cost to be provided by the author. Unfortunately, I do not have the funds to move forward and am hoping to get some help from the community to bring this book into the homes and lives of our children and improve peer inclusion.
