Support a Deaf Person Facing Financial Crisis

Hey everyone! I have been very back and forth about posting/creating this gofundme, but I realize now it’s this or I’m going to be on the streets. Anyway so here’s the gist of it. For those of you who do not know I have lost my hearing in both of my ears I am now 100% deaf. I had cochlear implant surgery to try to fix my hearing but unfortunately it was not the miracle it was supposed to be. While all of this was going on my manager had been “trying” to help me, but HR just didn’t want to accommodate me. While on vacation my employer (The University of Utah Hospital) decided I was a danger to my patients and put me on leave without pay. I have been fighting it with the state but it is slow going, and it doesn’t look like my benefits will kick in (SSDI, vocational rehabilitation etc..) until the middle of next month after my rent and car payment and everything else is due. So I’m at the mercy of my friends and family to help me. Anything helps. Thank you guys.
