Support a Family and Their Animals After Fire
Donation protected
Woke up this morning to two videos from my dad of his house being engulfed with flames. Everyone one, including several of the baby animals, are all safe so thank you Jesus! At this time, over 75% of the house has been lost to the fire and water damage and his family and several of his baby animals have been forced to figure out where they are going to sleep and what their next steps are. From his post at 3:00 a.m. this morning on Facebook:
"First and foremost, we thank God that we were able to get ourselves and all the animals (except our cats) out of the house and nursery alive. Our two cats were later found alive in the house. They required oxygen and are resting now. We don't really know where to start or go from here. The fire started over at our cabin and then crossed to our house. The cabin is completely gone and the house is mostly gone. Only the garage remains with little damage. The propane tanks exploded and caused a delay for the firefighters to be able to work the flames engulfing the house. We want to thank all of the first responders for what they did. We don't know what's next but are trusting God has a plan. A couple of years ago we had to drop our home insurance because the rates got so high (almost triple what a house our size would cost because of the animals on the property) that we couldn't budget it in and care for the animals at the same time. So going forward, we will rebuild a little at a time."
Knowing that you have no home insurance after losing everything is defeating but we know our God is merciful and HE will see them through this. Please consider giving any amount of donation to his family to ease with the costs of continuing provisions for the animals while trying to figure out where to start on their home.
